A lasting impression was left by this observation of a friend:

competent, intelligent, well mannered, hard walking,

Are you sure that you yourselves possess all these virtues"?

We can see clearly the selfishness of a woman who expects these treasures to be lavished upon her simply because she pays wages. Money cannot pay for such virtues. The affairs of the household run smoothly only when the housekeeper will do her share.

The most important element of forgiveness is the willingness to forget. Often one says. "I can forgive but I cannot forget."

That person states a falsehood. Either he forgets and allows the past to bury its dead. or he has not forgiven. While
