withhold your hand. God shows you how to forgive, for it is God in you who is really forgiving.

Many people are healed of old, chronic diseases just by getting rid of their tempers, or some old, secret, revengefulness or resentment, or some poisonous hatred.

Lust cast Out.

The next commandment Jesus refers to is, “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” He then proceeds to show that lustful thoughts must be rooted out of the heart in order that one be free from adulterous consequences --- disease in the body and disorder in affairs.

Our thinking must be pure and holy.

“Ye shall be holy, for I am holy.”
--- Lev. II :44.

To cleanse the mind of impure thoughts realize that they are not yours, that they are not real, that they are nothing. The only One who thinks in us is God, and God is pure, and thoughts which He does not have are vanity and nothingness. Do not fight them. Do not condemn yourself or another for them. But continually think,

“Christ thinks in me now --- I am pure, I am holy, I am clean. God is the only presence in my heart.”

If others seem to be possessed by impure thinking, speak the same words for them. Do not feel that you can be contaminated by their presence. Jesus Christ touched the lepers, contrary to the Hebrew law, and he was, not harmed, whereas they were cleansed. Do not condemn. Remember Jesus’ words to the adulteress,

“Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.” --- John 8 :11.
