One good old church deacon whom I knew, used to say that after his conversion he felt as if he could jump over a barn. I think such experiences are caused by a temporary birth of the Cosmic sense, which is only another name for a consciousness of Unity. The religious ecstasy, sublime emotions, the passion to sacrifice the personal will, all tend to bring about UNION of the personal will with the "will of the Father."
