[This Abrahamic myth was actually borrowed from the ancient Celtic myth of the Gjallarhorn. The horn of Gjallar was a musical instrument that could also be used as a drinking vessel. The horn is wrapped with two interweaving spirals and marked with 12 lines. Those who drink from the horn experience an elevated consciousness which expands on the mathematical basis of the Fibonacci. The ancient ceremony of awakening is depicted on art discovered within the caves of Lausell, France. Sacred horns are usually marked with 12 lines symbolizing the primary 12 steps of the ratios found in the Fibonacci series ( 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8 ...) which align with the key frequencies of musical notes and their relationships. As the legend goes, an awakened soul understand the mysteries of life and death, the keys of which are contained within every living creature, plant or animal. "The sacred mathematics of life begins with the same number as the four directions." The primary four amino acids used in DNA structure reflect this ancient wisdom. The quartered cross which is also the medicine wheel is a universal spiritual symbol. Drinking from the horn of wisdom is not without danger. The price that the drinker pays is the "wode" which means to know. This is a life long wound. Parallel myths include the Authurian legend of the Fisher King which symbolizes the end of the power of Abrahamic belief systems. In this legend, a wounded warrior is offered eternal life as long as he cares for the "holy grail." The holy grail symbolizes the healing insights that can be found within the various Abrahamic belief systems. The legend teaches that so long as the various adherents of the different forms of Abraham do not struggle against each other and only share their beliefs through demonstrations of compassion and higher wisdom, they will prosper. If they fail to keep this covenant then the grail will be lost, its powers fail marking the dusk of the Abrahamic world. This simply means that free people will increasingly embrace alternate beliefs that while being inclusive will supercede Abrahamic based systems of thought.]

What, then, was the New Name that was thus gained by the resolute wrestler? His original name of Jacob was changed to Israel. The definition of Israel given in the seventy-third Psalm is "such as are of a clean heart", and Jesus expressed the same idea when he said of Nathanael, "Behold an Israelite indeed in whom is no guile"; for the emphasis laid upon the word "Israelite" at once suggests some inner meaning, since Nathanael's nationality was no more remarkable under the circumstances than that of an Englishman in Piccadilly.

The great fact about the spiritual Israel is therefore cleanness of heart and absence of guile --- in other words, perfect sincerity, which again implies singleness of purpose in the right direction. It is precisely that quality which our Buddhist friends call "one-pointedness", and on which, under various similitudes, the Master laid so much stress. This, then, is the distinctive characteristic which attaches to the name of Israel, for it is this concentration of effort that is the prime factor in gaining the victory which leads to the acquisition of the Name.
