The waters are creative waters of life in which
the living creatures are made manifest. God
creates every living creature which the waters of
life bring forth after their kind. The waters
above the firmament are God's power and possibility and the waters below the firmament are the
possibilities expressed, and the firmament is the
center of action in the midst, where the expression
takes place, or between the expresser and expression, and in which the two are one.- This is
heaven; they all have life in God.
The firmament of the second day testifies of
the Truth that God, through demonstrating His
own law --- love, brings forth one form and as he
produces one, so are we all begotten and made
apparent, according to His will and idea. The
fifth day describes in detail the second day's work
and universalizes the nature and result of it in
visible form.
"Let fowl fly in the face of the firmament of
heaven," stands for the truth that all visibility
constitutes the face of the firmament of heaven,
and that living ideas are free to move in heaven
or fly above the earth. Moving creatures stand
for the truth that their power and freedom of
movement is God's breath of life within them.
It is to be understood that the universal cosmic
light is filled with fowl --- creative ideas --- that
multiply in the earth. These ideas bring forth
