who sees light as good, who divides it from darkness and calls it day.

It is God who says, "Let be a firmament," who divides the waters from the waters, and calls the firmament heaven.

It is God who says, "Let the dry land appear," who calls its appearance earth, who says, "Let the earth bring forth," and sees it all good. It is God who says, "Let be" lights in the firmament of heaven, let them divide the day from the night --- light from darkness --- and give light upon the earth; (i. e., Do as I do.)

It is God who is the two great lights --- Being to rule the light --- existence to rule the darkness over the face; and sees them good.

It is God who creates every living creature that moveth, which the waters bring forth abundantly; who blesses them and says, "Be fruitful."

It is God who makes the beast of the earth and everything after its kind, and sees all good. So it is God who creates man, male and female; who blesses them, by being present in them; who commands them to replenish the earth and have dominion.

It is God who gives man food, and who gives food to the beasts, fowls and creeping things wherein there is a living soul.
