In fuller consciousness it is known as the helpmeet for the soul. Verse 18. And the Lord God said, "It is not good for man to be alone; I will make a helpmeet for him." 21 "And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept, and he took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh instead thereof."

The Hebrew word "Ahdam --- Adam" is not merely the name of a person but, like the Greek Anthropos and the Latin Homo, it is the class name of a genus or group.

When God creates Man, male and female, he calls their name Adam, in the day (the same light) in which he created them.

The account of the creation of Eve from the side of Adam allegorically represents the truth that God creates Man, male and female, of one substance. "Female" stands for the generative power of God's idea and of the mental receptivity of Man universal, male and female. Through holy conception, the true mental state, are both visibly formed; thus the true mentality is the help-meet, Ahzar, which means that which girds, surrounds, defends.
