is the forbidden tree. We know the true Source
sends forth only good, for it sends only what It
itself is. The same fountain cannot bring forth
sweet and bitter.
Strip the allegory of Eden of its disguise and
read its truth in the new tongue. Spirit is now
revealing the same truth to us, saying, Man is a
spiritual being; his consciousness of Me begins as
a seed in the soul, capable of all Divine possibilities, but undeveloped (Garden of Eden). I am
moving him out of darkness into light, out of
ignorance into knowledge, gradually, as lie can
receive it. Let there be light in his consciousness
that the Truth of himself may be revealed to him;
let this man look always to Spirit, since he is My
image; he shall come to know himself by knowing

receive all light and understanding from Me, and
see all things as My likeness.
This seed of knowledge is implanted in his
spiritual consciousness (Garden of Eden), which
is nourished and kept by My power. I give this
seed, which is My Divine Nature, into his keeping;
I put the source of all goodness (Tree of Life)
within him, and from this Source springs perfect
fruit, but let him look always to the Source; to
the within (or consciousness) for his peace and
