Elijah fed by ravens; birds --- soaring thoughts. Divine supply under all circumstances if we know how to trust.

Elijah raises the widow's son from the dead. 24th verse, the same was said of Jesus. John 3:2, John 16:30.

"How long halt ye between two opinions? If the Lord be God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him." Water --- divine possibilities. Love --- consuming fire.

Jesus also reached point of unfoldment in forty days' fast.

Elijah is comforted by angel; casts his mantle upon Elisha. Mantle --- covering of the spirit which unfolded.
