Prayer here is understood in its broadest sense, any turning of the heart towards God in petition or in praise is called prayer. Duplicate editions of same Psalm --- Ps. 14:53; Ps. 40:13, 17; Ps. 70:108 Ps. 57:7-11; Ps. 60:5-12.
Editorial note in Ps. 72:20. The prayers of David, the son of Jesse, are ended, seems to prove conclusively that the compiler of the collection in question knew of no other Davidic Psalms.
