Micah rebukes Israel and Judah for idolatries and promises restoration. A prophet is a watchman; foretelling seemed to be the least of his duties.

"I will assemble, 0 Jacob, all of thee I will surely gather the remnant of Israel." Remnant and seed are the same. A remnant does not mean a few souls, but that in every soul which is worth saving, and it will be saved.

Gives enlargement, peace and victory to Zion; this is the victory of the spiritual consciousness.

"The mountain of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains." When John of Patmos began to write the visions in Revelation, he said he was led by the Spirit into a mountain. A high place. We know why he could have these wonderful visions of what is called "the latter day." It is also called "the day of the Lord," and the "last day," but all have the same significance. "In that day the Lord shall do great things." And Israel was called upon to rejoice and be glad "in that day."

It is the establishing of the perfect consciousness.
