Jesus appeared to the apostles in the absence of Thomas.

Jesus appeared to the apostles, Thomas was present.

The apostles went into Galilee. Jesus appeared at the sea of Tiberius. " Cast the net on the right side of the ship and ye shall find." The net did not break under the direction of the Christ, the doctrine holds, all that are caught abide forever.

The ascension is the last step out of the belief of flesh into the consciousness of spirit; it comes when the soul knows its unity with God. The conscious oneness of the soul with God, the real at-one-ment. Jesus did not make the at-one-ment, he revealed it. At-one-ment is an eternal verity. Ascension is the manifestation of the truth that all is spirit. Between the resurrection and the ascension Jesus could make his body disappear, but it would re-appear he was not fully conscious of the truth of his body all the time. After the ascension he never came back in that form. He could
