As we die to blind faith we have our resurrection in understanding, the day of reason, judgment, discernment. Mark 12:34.

In the first separation we thought God's power apart from man's power, but in the separation made in fuller light, we see this was a misconception and we begin to separate Truth from ignorance, good from evil, wheat from the tares, the sheep from the goats this is our "Judgment" day and it is all right in its place, but there is something beyond.

This is the development of individual consciousness. Man is still looked upon as a dependent existence drawing from a Something above himself, looking beyond himself for the source of possibility and power and Infinite Life, of which he is the "image and likeness." He does not yet comprehend that there is nothing beyond the Infinite Man.

Every "new birth" necessitates a "new death." Having died to our first conceptions we have by the accompanying "birth" risen to higher things, but not to the highest. "Put off the old man, put on the new man." This higher conception and birth must also come to an end. This "end" is called in Revelation the "second death." Rev. 2:11.

Our first step is material conception, our second is spiritual conception, harder to yield than
