the Light that God is shining in earth as the fulfillment of Law.

Like all other forms of water spoken of in the Hebrew scriptures, it denotes activity, creative power, a never-ending formative action, by which all forms of life are sustained and lived.

Four heads --- "four" means perfected existence of heaven and earth, of all action and result, and the four heads indicate the complete and perfect state in which all things are lived and sustained by one Supreme Being. In the human form it is symbolized in circulation, respiration, digestion and generation.

Under the symbol of a garden watered by the mists of the earth, we have a picture of soul development in which man has reached the consciousness of existence in the body, but does not understand the cause of existence, nor the source of his possibilities. The picture is beautiful in that it represents a soul fully equipped with all innate possibilities and manifesting beauty and goodness in outer form.

The garden was growing "every tree that was pleasant to the sight and good for food." In this stage of unfoldment, that is satisfactory which appeals to the senses, sight and taste are gratified.

The "face of the ground" is watered by a "mist that went up" from the earth because man
