"Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast
of the field which the Lord God had made. And he
said unto the woman, 'Yea, bath God said, Ye shall
not eat of every tree of the garden' "? The serpent,
being more subtle than any beast of the field
which the Lord God had made, shows that He did
not make it; if He had it would have been in harmony with, and not more subtle than any beast of
the field. It has no place in Being, Substance or
Reality. Seeing this truth casts out ignorance,
the serpent, the accuser and deceiver. The spiritual interpretation of meat is that of which we partake spiritually, with which we spiritually commune, and with which we are in a state of oneness. To eat is to partake of, to assimilate and
be one with.

The Lord God commanded man. saying, "Of
every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat." He spoke this truth to man, which means Being
thou shalt Be, for beside Being there is nothing,
so it means to be what God is, or not to Be at all;
in other words, it is eating of what is, or starving.
Everything being made in light, it is made in wisdom, and God, the maker of all things, is the light
