brought forth Cain and Abel (duality). All start as Adam and Eve, and Cain and Abel are the offspring of that consciousness.

Abel, the feeder of the sheep, the good shepherd; Cain, a tiller of the ground, just what the man was outside the Garden of Eden. "And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord, and Abel also brought firstling of the flock." The Lord God had respect to Abel but not to Cain.

Gen 4: 2

A tiller of the ground would not be typical of as spiritual a consciousness as a keeper of the flocks; Abel, spiritual nature within; Cain, that which turns to the outer.

Eden, our consciousness. A dual thought takes us out of Eden.

The sin, falling short, of Cain, which "lies at the door," is that he is always acquiring something from an outside source which is his offering unto God, but he never offers himself.

"And it came to pass when Cain and Abel were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel and slew him." This has been interpreted as two natures within us, material and spiritual, but this belief is only possible in the process of our development.

"Brother's keeper" means Cain's belief in separation. "Cursed is the ground"; that which
