"one end of heaven to the other"? Who are the elect of whom Peter seeks, "elect according to the
foreknowlege of God"? Whom does John address as the "elect lady"? What true meaning
is there in this idea of election and predestination,
brought out plainly by Isaiah, Paul, Peter, John
and Jesus? Whom has the Lord chosen?
Setting aside the thought of personality, we
find a satisfactory answer to this question. When
God is recognized as changeless principle, the
Lave, Truth, Life and Being of each individual,
and because Omnipresent, present alike in all and to all; when Truth is enthroned in our consciousness and begins its work of judgment within us, separating Divine Nature from all that claims to be material, or mortal; when we can hear Truth's decision saying to Divine Nature, "the sheep," spiritual nature within us, "Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord," also saying to all claims of mortality, "the goats" within our thoughts, "Depart
from me, I never knew you"; when this light of consciousness has shined within us; then do we understand what or whom it is that has been eternally chosen by Truth and Love. Divine Nature is the elect of God. It belongs to every living soul in God's universe. It is the Life and Substance of Spirit in each, predestined by Divine Will and Purpose, to come out at last pure and
