I KINGS.. - p. 191

THE BOOK OF I. KINGS.

This book contains the history of the nation from the death of David and Solomon's accession to the destruction of the kingdom of Judah. I. and II. Books of Kings form one book in Hebrew manuscript; they include the whole time of the Israelitish monarchy, exclusive of the reign of Saul and David.

1 Kings 1:34

1 Kings 2: 10-12

1 Kings 3: 1, 3, 4

Death; David slept with his fathers.
