kingdom of righteousness and power, and then identify this highest good for humanity with a specific quality of being or fore-runner called the "Anointed One," which means the Christ principle through which this realization is attained.

We who spiritually interpret the writings of the Hebrews see man awakening from his dream of sense into conscious dominion and power of Spirit, which is the highest plane of consciousness. Therein lie knows himself to be the temple of God and communes and worships in Spirit and in Truth. An unfoldment from ignorance into the light of understanding, from childhood into manhood.

The Scriptures must be given spiritual interpretation because the Spirit is back of the letter. "For the letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life."

The prophets of Israel stood against the evils of their own people, loving righteousness better than the fatherland. They devoted themselves to bringing forth righteousness (right thinking) and in this they shine in the firmament of history more than the seers of other peoples. It was because of this that Christianity could find a foundation.
