Zechariah, "Memory of the Lord."

If all Israel had risen to that consciousness there would have been no more backsliding. Not remembering the past, but keeping the mind set on God; always remembering the law, the Lord, the divinity of her own nature would have been revealed.

Zechariah was the son of Berechiah, grandson of Iddo, tribe of Levi, and was born in Babylon. He came to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel, began to prophesy two months after Haggai, and continued two years. He was one of the captives who returned to Jerusalem after the decree of Cyrus. He prophesied through symbols and saw visions.

"Be ye not as your fathers --- your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever?"

Restoration of Jerusalem. "I will be their God in truth and righteousness."

The Christ Spirit predicted; "His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth."

Enemies destroyed. Rom. 9:26, Rev. 21:3.

The "fountain opened" is the well of water within each soul.

Supposed to refer to Jesus' second coming; as telling the exact place where His feet shall rest. Feet symbolizes understanding. "The feet shall
