threaten, as those of which we have not yet lost
memory will do, that their power to enslave is
gone. Divine Love must give still greater proof
of this.
"And Moses said unto the people, 'Fear ye
not; stand still, and see the salvation of God --- for
the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall
see them no more forever. The Lord shall fight
for you and ye shall hold your peace.' " We are
all familiar with this point in our new consciousness, our new attitude toward Life. After we
think our bondage to sin, sickness and death has
ended and that we have stepped into great freedom
of thought, we are sometimes suddenly stopped by
some condition that claims, " You cannot ignore
me, for I prove to you that your possibilities are
limited; that you are not one with Almighty
Power and Goodness; you are but a mortal being
after all your great claims." Has there not one
thought been arrested in its flight from material
bondage to acknowledge that, perhaps, after all,
we do have to serve the material, and have been
mistaken in supposing ourselves free?
This, then, is our sea. Here are we about to be
overtaken by Pharaoh's host and almost discouraged, all because, when we saw a claim of separation and limitation in the so-called flesh, we allowed our thoughts to falter, to waver, to doubt!
