See the departure from God. He has given us all these things, and after having received the supply for every need, we have forgotten it and have turned to the external for our help.

Who are our lovers when we forsake the Lord?

They are the things we love in the external, the effect, that make us forget our source.

Baal-i means "My Lord," and Ishi means"husband."

Baal-im means "false gods."

Sounds as though Judah were favored. Anything we put in God's place is an idol.
